A PRIMER AGAINST RACISM seeks to present, in as brief
a manner possible, the key concepts surrounding the issues of race and racism in our
society. The tenets of A PRIMER AGAINST RACISM are that
Racism is a virulent and hateful form of collectivism
The idea of "Race" is an invalid concept that
involves a corruption of the concept "species"
Races do not exist; to hold they do is
unscientific and illogical
Man is one species
To hold that races exist is the first step of
racism
Racial conflict is really ethnic conflict and
is characterized by territorial protectionism
Prejudice is a form of the logical fallacy
called false generalization
Discrimination and exclusion are the practical
results of racial theory and prejudice
Racism is mass exclusion that creates mass
poverty and despair
Racialism is the subconscious philosophical
residue of European-style racial theories
Our society is a battle ground between two
conflicting views: the Colonialism/Imperialism view that conquered
this land and the Limited Government view that attempted to overturn
the former
Most Liberals are collectivists who have little
interest in solving the problem
Most Conservatives are collectivists who would
rather the problem go away
The solutions to the problem of racism are
found in individuals, particularly intellectuals, teachers, parents
and business people
Government cannot and does not want to solve
the problem
