·           Designed and installed first outbound telemarketing department at UPS that became the model for the national program.

·           Wrote scripts, developed procedures, hired and trained employees, wrote and implemented telemarketing department Master Operating Plan.

·           Worked in Europe (Germany, England, and Spain) installing first UPS LAN in Europe. Also designed computer programs for future department upgrades in those countries.

·           Functioned as Indiana District Telecommunications Manager, responsible for managing District telecommunications equipment, auditing, controlling costs and purchasing new equipment according to corporate purchasing guidelines.

·           Operated as Telephone Center Office Manager where I was responsible for four supervisors and fifty-six CSRs, coordinating employee training, supervisor training, office staffing and labor relations.  Also, managed employee hiring and firing activities and liaison between call center and senior management at district, region and national levels.

·           While call center manager developed computerized spreadsheet for more efficient staffing that became the model for development of computerized staffing software that was used nationwide.

·           As Telephone Center Office Manager obtained first 6-second average answer in Midwest Region three times during December of 1993.

·           Conducted UPS Courtesy Plus training classes for UPS Telephone Center Representatives.

·           Functioned as Area Sales Manager for eight field level account executives and was District product manager for UPS hundredweight service.

·           Have extensive experience in Payroll, Delivery Information, and Loss Prevention departments.

 

1966 - 1968 United States Army Camp Casey Korea - Radio Teletype Operator

Successfully completed Army Basic Training and Radio Teletype training including Morse Code, Voice Radio Operation, Radio Teletype training. Served as a Radio Teletype operator In Korea with the Seventh Infantry Division. Received Honorable Discharge.
